Is it really important to have a lifetime partner? What is a lifetime partner anyway?
We always hear the saying ‘No man is an island’. And for me, it’s true. As a human being, we always need someone to rely on, whether we like it or not. Someone we trust, perhaps, like a lifetime partner.
A lifetime partner is our trusted companion. It doesn’t limit to our spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend. It can be our parents, a friend, a sibling, or even our insurance.
Sun Life announced their newest campaign — Kaakbay: Stories of Lifetime Partnerships, which aims to renew their commitment of becoming the Filipinos’ lifetime financial partner as well as its purpose of providing its clients with lifetime financial security, which it has been championing since it introduced life insurance in the Philippines in 1895.
“Providing our clients with lifetime financial security is the core of our mission. In fact, Sun Life pioneered life insurance in the Philippines 124 years ago so that Filipinos can enjoy its benefits. This advocacy is complemented by our products and services, which we have diversified through the years to serve even their health and wealth needs,” Sun Life Chief Marketing Officer Mylene Lopa said.. ”And we will not stop there. As our clients’ lifetime partner, Sun Life will continue to innovate and improve so we may serve our clients better.”
In our daily journey, we need a ‘kaakbay’ in every way. For me, my ‘kaakbay’ is my husband. I can always rely on him 24/7 whether financially, emotionally, mentally, and physically. He is my lifetime partner and I know that I can count on him anytime, anywhere just like Sun Life. How about you? Who is your ‘kaakbay’?
As part of their campaign, Sun Life will be releasing a series of ‘Kaakbay’ videos every week starting July 13. Those who will watch the videos will get a chance to win a trip for two to Singapore by sharing their own stories of lifetime partnership on @SunLifePH on Youtube or Facebook. Consolation prizes will also be given away. The full mechanics are available on Facebook.
